This week we have a monster showdown between the (10-2) Blue Spring Wildcats vs. (11-1) CBC this Friday 7pm at Klemm Field home of the Cadets. These two powerhouse teams will face off for a chance to be crowned Missouri Class 6 State Champions. It won’t be an easy task for either team as both teams are really good.
Michael Warmack, who missed the first five games with a knee injury, is a threat out the backfield to run it or catch it. In this years playoffs he has been unstoppable racking up 385 rushing yards and 8 TD’s in the last two games. With Dylan Cowling running the show at QB the Wildcats are an efficient offense that can put up points in a hurry.
On the other side of the field the Cadets will most likely have the 4 star recruit Kamryn Babb back as he has sat out nearly half of the season with an injury. Despite missing 5 games he has 39 receptions for 701 yards on the year. Cameron Brown, a rising star, is also a huge threat for the Cadets. Brown now has 57 receptions for 1016 yards on the year.
Both teams are battled tested as their schedules were two of the toughest in the state. It should come down to who can commit the fewer turnovers, fewer penalties, and maybe who has the ball last. Either way the state of Missouri will be in for a treat.
